CMB Yachts, founded in 2007 by Hüseyin Başaran under BAŞARAN GROUP, is one of the youngest and most dynamic manufacturers in the Antalya Free Zone. The company launched its first yacht in the over 45-meter segment, Mystic, in 2010. This yacht won the grand prize in the Best Motor Yacht 40 Meters and Over category at The International Yacht Awards 2011. Last year, their newest design, the 47-meter Orient Star, was awarded the Best Concept Design Under 50 Meters.

The luxury mega yacht manufacturer, which showcased its award-winning yachts at the Monaco Yacht Show this year, completed its latest creation, the Orient Star (14.5 million euros), in just 18 months. The 47-meter yacht, produced in Antalya, is a true design marvel. It boasts the distinction of being one of the largest motor yachts in the world built entirely with composite system technology. One unique feature of its design is the balcony that opens to the port and starboard sides of the upper deck. The wide, floor-to-ceiling windows on the main deck maximize the sea view from the master cabin.

The approximately 510-square-meter interior of the yacht includes a master cabin, guest cabins accommodating up to 8 people, a cold storage room, a salon, a dining room, a captain’s cabin, staff cabins for 8 people, as well as a kitchen and laundry. The interiors, adorned with products from Bebitalia, Minotti, Casamilano, Cerruti Baleri, Holly Hunt, and Armani Casa, exude the luxury of a high-end home. Each of the four double guest cabins has its own bathroom. In addition to the luxuriously furnished salon, there is a lounge and a dining room. The bar on the aft main deck, which merges with the relaxation area, brings entertainment to the open sea with state-of-the-art visual and audio equipment.

Outside, the sun deck features a large bar and seating areas decorated with atmospheric LED lighting, creating an illuminated ambiance. The spacious sunbathing area includes a spa pool surrounded by sunbeds and a relaxation section. The yacht’s automation, lighting system, A/V, and curtain controls can be managed via iPad and iPhone. The garage houses various marine equipment, and the yacht is powered by two 1450-horsepower MTU engines. Orient Star has a maximum speed of 16 knots and an average cruising speed of 10 knots.

Given the success of CMB Yachts, which is currently building three 47-meter mega yachts in its 6,150-square-meter indoor facility in the Antalya Free Zone, there is no doubt that we will continue to hear its name frequently in the coming years.
