YACHTS IN PRODUCTION
YACHTS UNDER DESIGN
He’s in the Ocean Now
CMB Yachts hosted the Turkish premiere of the CMB47 series Liquid Sky with a special event at Palmarina Bodrum, alongside the previously completed Mystic yacht. The interiors of Liquid Sky, with an elegant design line by award-winning designer Espen Oeino, carry the signature of Beril Başaran/Artebel Design. Liquid Sky will make its first voyage across the ocean for its World premiere from November 1-5 at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show. Considering the achievements of Orient Star and Mystic, it is not difficult to predict that CMB Yachts’ new favorite will receive attention in Miami.
The megayacht, which was launched in Antalya in August, was produced by CMB Yachts with 100 percent domestic capital using fully composite technology. Liquid Sky, with a volume of 490 gross tons and a width of 8.85 meters, can cruise the ocean at 15 knots with its 1450 HP CAT C32 engines. The yacht features a magnificent master suite with a very spacious bathroom, dressing and seating areas, as well as two VIP and two guest suites.
“We have taken our place in the global market with our young and dynamic team of 250 people in our 10,000-square-meter production area, especially with megayachts over 40 meters,” said CMB Yachts Shipyard Manager and Projects Coordinator Cüneyt Okcu. He described Liquid Sky: “Our 47-meter Mystic and Orient Star yachts are unique and highly successful designs… Despite being 47 meters, Liquid Sky, which has a larger volume, fills the gap between our two megayachts. With its jacuzzi, waterfall, and bar, flybridge, the wisely positioned main cabin, functional guest areas, and large outdoor spaces, Liquid Sky’s features stand out. The balconies we positioned in the skylounge on the port and starboard sides combine with two opening doors to create a large internal volume. This feature provides a great space for large gatherings or parties, creating a new way of use.”The other two projects of the CMB47 series, which are being produced by CMB Yachts and whose details are kept secret, are planned to be delivered to their owners, who have signed a preliminary agreement, in 2018.
