YACHTS IN PRODUCTION
YACHTS UNDER DESIGN
In the center of the lower deck are two twin VIP cabins dedicated to guests and two twin cabins with two single beds. The four-bunk crew cabins at the bow are designed to accommodate eight crew members, excluding the captain. The tender garage, located between the engine room and the VIP cabins, has a capacity to accommodate tenders up to a meter long. However, based on the Liquid Sky owner’s preference, the jet skis will be moved to the foredeck, allowing the garage to house a single-person submarine. Additionally, two windsurfing sets and sea-flight equipment powered by water pressure will also be stored here.
Liquid Sky’s beach club is equipped with a music system according to the yacht owner’s wishes, creating a never-ending party atmosphere for guests to enjoy while relaxing in this area or spending time in the sea.
The engine room houses two Cat Acert 32 1450 hp engines. The megayacht, equipped with Arcturus Marine TRAG brand stabilizers, offers very comfortable journeys. Liquid Sky, certified in the Rina Charter Class, has a clean water capacity of 10,800 liters and a fuel capacity of 51,000 liters. With a maximum speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 10 knots, the megayacht can travel a distance of approximately 3,000 nautical miles at this speed. The construction and naval architecture of the yacht are by CMB Yachts, while the structural engineering is by the British firm High Modulus/SP GURIT. With its large windows and glass details, this romantic and powerful motoryacht allows you to feel the sun and the moon in every centimeter, offering comfortable trips to its new owner with its spacious and voluminous living spaces.
Next to the wet bar, descending the stairs on the starboard side, we reach the upper deck’s cockpit, where there is a toilet conveniently placed under the stairs. This way, guests coming from the sea or jacuzzi don’t have to enter the interior while wet to use the toilet. If we examine the upper deck from bow to stern: Liquid Sky, which has a +60 meter Novurania service boat on the foredeck according to the yacht owner’s requests, can accommodate a tender up to 6 meters and two jet skis in this area. A crane with a lifting capacity of up to 1,100 kilograms is also located here, ready to meet the yacht owner’s demands in both scenarios. On the upper deck, which includes the control area, the captain’s cabin is accessed through a door connected to the control area and located on the port side. The captain’s cabin includes a private bathroom. The second door on the other side of the control area leads to a shared toilet and a corridor connecting to the rest area. At the end of the corridor, we enter the rest area through an automatic door. Fixed balconies are located on both sides of the sunbathing area, which can be accessed with a single movement. Full-length sliding doors used to reach the balcony effectively utilize the space and provide a quick escape to open air and natural daylight. The wall at the bow end of the rectangular rest area, with its soft corners, is covered with wooden cabinets and drawers. This wooden design, which provides ample storage space, enhances the homey feeling prevalent throughout the motoryacht and includes a unit with a television for guests who wish to spend their free time here. The door on the port side of the wall, leading to the gym, is colored using the same materials in synergy. The passage to the cockpit is through sliding glass doors, similar to those used for the balcony. The bar on the port side and the comfortable seating area for two opposite it are ideal for spending time before dinner, while an eight-person table offers a pleasant option for guests who wish to dine outside.
The main deck’s fore area houses the main cabin. This cabin, with its own study, is accessed from here. Next, we encounter the owner’s cabin, featuring a large double bed and decorated in light tones. On the port side of the bed, there is a seat where you can enjoy the sun while watching the outside view through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The bowmost part of the motor yacht features a bathroom with separate sinks for men and women. The combination of black and white marble, natural daylight provided by a glass section in the ceiling, and wooden elements create a modern and stylish ambiance. Exiting the main cabin and moving towards the stern, we reach a corridor housing the third shared toilet on the motoryacht, followed by the salon where evening meals are served. In the salon, the dining table for eight people is separated from the seating area by a decorative fireplace. The cockpit, like the rest of the motoryacht, is furnished with large seating groups arranged in a stylish and comfortable layout to welcome guests.
The sea is always beautiful, especially in our country. Every day, our domestic shipyards launch a new yacht equipped with diverse technologies and captivating designs, further enriching our beautiful coasts. Established by Hüseyin and Beril Başaran in 2007, CMB Yachts produces custom-made yachts. Liquid Sky, launched by the local shipyard in Antalya in August 2017, premiered at Palmarina Bodrum in September 2017, and as Boat International Turkey, we have explored designer Beril Başaran’s new masterpiece from A to Z.
The motoryacht Liquid Sky, part of the CMB Yachts CMB47 series, bears the signature of world-renowned designer Espen Øeino. The interior design, featuring modern and minimalist touches suitable for the yacht owner’s lifestyle, is by Beril Başaran, founder of Artebel Design and a native who is always connected with the sea. The megayacht has a total length of 46.50 meters and a beam of 9.90 meters. Starting from the sun deck, we began our examination of Liquid Sky, with its composite c-glass, epoxy, and PVC corecell foam hull.
The sun deck is designed for socializing. The seating area at the bow has three double seats, and the enjoyable music prepared by Hüseyin Başaran on the premiere night reached us from the DJ set located here. Moving a little further back, there is another large seating group and a wet bar, protected from the sun by the enclosed roof. From the wet bar to the stern, there is an aesthetically pleasing and heated jacuzzi, designed with a waterfall to enhance enjoyment. At the rear, there are sunbathing cushions and another U-shaped seating group.
