Produced entirely with composite technology

The megayacht, which was launched in Antalya in August, was produced by CMB Yachts, a company with 100% domestic capital, using fully composite technology. The boat, with a volume of 490 gross tons and a width of 8.85 meters, reaches a speed of 15 knots with 1450 hp CAT C32 engines. The yacht, which can accommodate ten guests with one master suite, two VIP suites, and two guest suites, is certified by RINA and MCA and reflects the timeless design line of CMB Yachts.

The decoration of the yacht, shaped by the modern and minimalist touches of Beril Başaran, founder of Artebel Design, combines soft colors, organic textures, and elegant details in a luxurious style. Modern forms, natural light, and the right use of colors bring comfort, tranquility, and functionality, facilitating and enriching yacht life in its simplest form. The harmony of natural surfaces and soft colors characterizes Liquid Sky. The use of natural stone and wooden objects, along with linen-textured products, and metal accessories and lighting such as iron, bronze, and copper, further strengthen the concept.

Liquid Sky, the third 45-meter yacht by CMB Yachts, was launched as the company’s seventh new build. Construction of Liquid Sky began in 2015 and took two years to complete. Liquid Sky, the first completed yacht of the CMB47 / Espen Øino Series, was produced using the GRP composite system construction technique. CMB Yachts prefers to work with domestic manufacturers as much as possible in the equipment of its 100% domestically engineered boats.

Kitchen design and layout, products used in the guest cabins, bed furnishings, door skins, wall fabric selections, fireplaces, dining tables, TV units, bars, and libraries, as well as all lighting and furniture design and production, belong to Artebel Design. In the selection of fabrics, emphasis is placed on using high-quality, well-known brands such as Sunbrella. All carpet surfaces are supplied by Step Carpet. Dedon products are preferred for all outdoor furniture, and the anchor system features the Data brand, which boasts a quality above its competitors.
Ambitious projects will continue

CMB Yachts Shipyard Manager and Projects Coordinator Cüneyt Okçu, who provided information about CMB Yachts and Liquid Sky, said, “With our young and dynamic team of 250 people and a production area of 10,000 square meters, we have established our place in both the Turkish and global markets by producing megayachts over 40 meters. We are among the leaders in the upper segment producer group. Especially with our quality and know-how in composite megayacht production, we are a recognized brand both in Turkey and globally, with a reputation that has strengthened faster than we targeted. In line with our strategies, we will continue to work on ambitious projects that will make a significant impact in the sector in the coming years, like Liquid Sky.”

“When you look at the 47-meter Mystic and Orient Star, you see that both are unique and highly successful designs in terms of usability. Although it is 47 meters, Liquid Sky, which has a larger volume, fills the gap between the two megayachts and gives this segment a completely different dimension. Features such as the jacuzzi, waterfall, and bar on the flybridge, the smartly positioned master cabin, functional guest areas, and large outdoor spaces are some of the remarkable features of Liquid Sky. The balconies we positioned on the port and starboard sides of the skylounge, combined with two opening doors, create a large internal volume. This feature creates a new way of use by providing an ideal environment for large gatherings or parties.”
The other two projects of the CMB47 series, whose details are kept secret, are planned to be delivered to their owners, who signed the principle agreement, in 2018.
